Summary: 

An SAP Analyst II is responsible for providing global user and system support in their individual functional area of expertise. 

Essential Job Duties: 

• Frontline support for global SAP users to ensure that any issues preventing productivity are resolved.
• Leverage SAP industry standards and best practice.
• Follow policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Change Control, Project Management methodology and SOX controls.
• Assist with SAP solution design for major system changes and projects.
• Serve as a key liaison between the business and IT Development team to provide systems analysis and support.
• Takes a lead role and assist in working with peers to develop standard processes, procedures, and documentation. Identify and analyze gaps between current processes and the desired state, design new processes, develop process performance measures and plan the transition to new processes as needed.
• Partner with IT development team to test solutions, including updating appropriate documentation to ensure smooth system integrations and enhanced functionalities.
• Assist with documentation and delivery of training as needed.
• Be hands-on with SAP/FI area, and willing to learn additional SAP cross-functional areas.

Reporting Relationships: 

• Reports directly to SAP Manager and/or Sr. Manager, SAP
• Dotted Line Report to SAP Analyst III/Sr. Analyst

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s (4 year) degree or equivalent certification

• Minimum 5 years of overall business / IT work experience
• SAP Experience 4+ years including 2+ years of SAP FI Experience (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets)
• Proven Experience in financial reporting and analysis using standard SAP reports.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong understanding of business processes and how to support fixes and improvements.
• Superior organizational and prioritization skills.
• Adept at working in both group settings and independently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong professionalism, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical staff and end users.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the SAP Business Analyst II
